It's early morning hours of March 21, 1977, at McKinley High School in Honolulu. A teacher makes the gruesome discovery that nobody wants to stumble upon: 16-year-old Dawn Momohara is dead. Her case remains unsolved for decades.

That is until detectives use modern DNA testing in 2019 to analyze evidence from Dawn's clothing, and they get a breakthrough in 2023 that will change this case forever.
