Guitarist James Burton was by Elvis's side throughout the 1970s and was famous for his chickin' pickin' guitar style.
James Burton joined the Louisiana Hayride when he was just 14 years old. He also formed the Shindig house band, Shindogs and was a member of the famous Wrecking Crew group of session musicians. It was as a part of the Wrecking Crew that he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007.
