The Word of God became flesh and dwelt among us. To those who
accepted him he gave power to become the children of God.

Gospel: John 1:29-34
On the next day, John saw Jesus coming toward him, and so he said: 'Behold, the Lamb of God. Behold, he who takes away the sin of the world. This is the one about whom I said, ‘After me arrives a man, who has been placed ahead of me, because he existed before me.’ And I did not know him. Yet it is for this reason that I come baptizing with water: so that he may be made manifest in Israel.' And John offered testimony, saying: 'For I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove; and he remained upon him. And I did not know him. But he who sent me to baptize with water said to me: ‘He over whom you will see the Spirit descending and remaining upon him, this is the one who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’ And I saw, and I gave testimony: that this one is the Son of God.'"

Friday, January 3, 2025 - A moment with GOD through HIS WORD.

Reflection: Am I open to hearing God’s voice in my heart, and how can I let His guidance shape my life and actions today?

Prayer: Father in Heaven, You have revealed to me Who You are and Your plan for my life in many ways. And though You are always speaking to me, I acknowledge that I do not always listen. Please open my soul to You more fully so that I may come to faith and be certain of Your love and Your perfect will in my life. Jesus, I trust in You.
