Gospel: Mark 6:30-34
The Apostles gathered together with Jesus and reported all they had done and taught. He said to them, “Go out alone, into a deserted place, and rest for a little while.” For there were so many who were coming and going, that they did not even have time to eat. And climbing into a boat, they went away to a deserted place alone. And they saw them going away, and many knew about it. And together they ran by foot from all the cities, and they arrived before them.

And Jesus, going out, saw a great multitude. And he took pity on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd, and he began to teach them many things.

Saturday, February 8, 2025 - A moment with GOD through HIS WORD.

Reflection: When plans change and others need your help, are you willing to set aside your own desires to show love and compassion?

Prayer: My generous Lord, You gave of Yourself without reserve. People came to You in their need, and You did not hesitate to serve them out of love. Give me a heart that imitates Your generosity and help me to always say “Yes” to the charitable work to which I am called. May I learn to find great joy in serving others, especially in those unplanned and unexpected circumstances of life. Jesus, I trust in You.
