This place used to be a gold mining hotspot back in 1988. But in 1989, a massive flash flood caused a mine collapse, burying 16 miners deep underground. Since then, the area has been abandoned — a cursed place feared by gold hunters.
Many years have passed and the story slowly faded. I decided to return to this place and try my luck near the old disaster site. I started with a shale rock showing signs of quartz and gold. After half a day of hard work, the reward was absolutely worth it.
(After safely collecting the gold, I held a small ritual to give thanks and ask for forgiveness from the spirits — unfortunately, I couldn’t film this part due to local spiritual traditions.)
