Noticed these mistakes in Sonic the Hedgehog 3?
No-1, If Gerald Robotnik is Ivo’s grandfather and he’s been locked up for 50 years with no known children besides Maria… then who is Ivo’s parent? Eggman even jokes about "who did what with whom and when," but we never get an answer. Either Gerald had another kid, or somehow Maria survived, and Shadow was just never told. That said, since Maria is also Gerald’s grandchild, it’s more likely he had multiple kids.
No-2, At the end of the second movie, Sonic calls Tom "Dad," but in this movie, he’s back to just calling him Tom. Maybe the "Dad" moment was more about accepting Tom as his father figure rather than a permanent name change.
No-3, Dr. Robotnik’s old drone, Unit, is nowhere to be seen or even mentioned, just like in the Knuckles TV series. In Sonic Drone Home, Sonic let Tails keep Unit, but maybe he was just joking, and he actually got rid of it. Or maybe the short film isn’t canon at all.
