A man was caught on camera grabbing a toddler and walking off like she was his in the middle of a busy Virginia mall.

Police say 26-year-old Andres Caceres Jaldin took the girl after she wandered from a play area. Her mother stopped him before he left, but he ran. Officers later found him at a motel with a stolen car.

He’s now charged with abduction and grand larceny. She’s safe but this footage is every parent’s nightmare.
