President-elect Donald Trump says he had a very productive meeting with the Canadian prime minister at his Mar-A-Lago estate in Florida Friday night. That surprise visit came just days after Trump threatened to impose a 25 per cent tariff on Canadian goods. Justin Trudeau thanked his host on social media saying he’s looking forward to working with the president-elect again but the prime minister said little else about what was discussed. The union representing Canada Post workers has now filed an unfair labour practice complaint to the Canada Industrial Relations Board. That move comes after Canada Post temporarily laid off some striking employees which the union is calling an intimidation tactic.
