The peace long after an apocalyptic event. The mourning of things long lost.
This is a peaceful post-apocalyptic ambience with music. I hope it helps you relax. It can be used as a background for work or setting the atmosphere for a DnD game.
I imagined a place somewhere in China long after some catastrophe with few survivors, nature is taking over and all is peaceful, yet sad, reminding you of lost things.
I was NOT trying to make the music Chinese sounding, if I did, I am sure I would fail spectacularly. Let´s just say, traditional Chinese music and instruments were an inspiration.
This video was created on request. It went like this:
I'm wondering, how would you feel about creating a Last of Us style ambient that's Chinese-themed?
Well, I actually felt very good about it and the video above is the product :D
Thank you for the idea :)

I create ambiences with original music. My favorite genre is fantasy, but I sometimes venture into sci-fi, horror, history, or plain (but beautiful) natural settings.
I am heavily inspired by books, as I am a total bookworm, by PC games and DnD which my husband loves and talks about. I love long cross-country hikes, that feel like a huge adventure and you can see it in the number of traveling ambiences I produce 😀
