Funk Pop (5266) is groovy backing track in the key of G minor, tempo 100bpm. The harmonic sequence consists mainly of Gm7 (tonic) and C7 (subdominant). All C7 chords can also be played as C7/9 chords. In the turnaround, when the brass begins, it goes via Eb7 to the dominant D7#9. The very last chord, just before we continue with Gm7-C7, is not shown in the video - because it only occurs for such a short time. This is the chord Ab7/13 (with additional tension tones), which arises from the tritone substitution with D7/#9. The notes F sharp and C are the third and seventh of the D7 chord. The notes C and G flat (enharmonic F sharp) are the third and seventh of the Ab7 chord.
