This island is called North Sentinel Island. It's approximately 60 square kilometers, and it's in the Indian Ocean, part of India officially. The people there probably don't even know about India or the rest of the world! Even though they're just 20 miles from other inhabited islands.
People have tried to talk to them, but it always ends badly. So now, the Indian military keeps a close eye on the island, patrolling a 3 nautical mile zone around it. And even if you somehow manage to sneak past them, you won't get far. They'll shoot arrows and spears at you as soon as you get close.
The whole island is covered in dense forest, maybe about 250 Sentinelese live there. And here's a crazy fact: their bodies are not immune to our viruses, so if they come close to us, it could be deadly for them.
