How does nuclear fusion works - Nuclear fusion is a nuclear reaction in which two or more atomic nuclei come close enough to form one or more different atomic nuclei and subatomic particles (neutrons/protons). The difference in mass of the products and reactnas is manifested as a release of lareg amount of energy.
Fusion is process that powers the sun and other stars.
In normal circumstances fusion is not possible because of strong repulsive electrostatic forces between positively charged nuclei (protons), prevent them from getting close enough together to collide and fusion to occur.
Nuclear fusion in the sun - In the sun gravitation forces are massive protonse come close enough, temperature increases causing protons to move faster and reach speeds high enough the electrostatic repulsion to be overcome by quantum effect in which nuclei can tunnel through Columb forces..
