Philippines’ Newly Discovered Ant

This is a species of ants that was initially not known to exist in the Philippines. But amazingly, these ants were found right outside someone's backyard! The species is Meranoplus bicolor, discovered by Filipino-Canadian content creator Mikey Bustos. But note that these ants are not new and are actually found in neighboring Asian countries. However, these were unknown to the Philippines and have no previous records or documentation, but are now known as the 555th ant species to be documented in the country. Just imagine walking outside the house and achieving a scientific discovery! That’s another good reason for us to touch grass. So what can you say about this?
