
Here’s why this works so well:
- Your viewers are VISUAL people (that’s why they’re on YouTube!)
- Having your CTA pop up on screen creates a pattern interrupt
- It shows people exactly what to expect when they click
- It creates a mental bookmark so they remember where to find your offer
I discovered this when I was promoting my Reels Mini Course (a $197 offer that ended up generating over $250k from YouTube alone).
The key was embedding my free Reels class CTA visually in EVERY video about Instagram, not just verbally mentioning it or hoping people would find it in the description.
Looking to implement this in your own videos? Here’s my advice:
1. Decide on ONE main call-to-action for each video
2. Create a visual graphic showing exactly what they’ll get
3. Have it pop up on screen for at least 5-10 seconds
4. Make sure to verbally direct viewers to it at the same time
5. Do this multiple times throughout your longer videos
This strategy is SO simple but incredibly effective.
