This live ambient cinematic electronic music was made with the intention to explore the interaction between the Make Noise 0-ctrl plugged into the gate CV of the Soma Lyra-8 to generate some different rhythmic pulses. The voices of the Lyra-8 react very differently depending on if they are in slow or fast mode, which makes sense because the different envelopes are effecting when the FM modulation is happening between voices. I thought this would work well in a sci-fi film, so I titled it "Sunsets on Ganymede," since this made me think of what it would look like to see Jupiter in the background of a sunset on the surface of its largest moon.

Patch Notes:
Soma Lyra-8 audio directly to Apogee Quartet audio interface. Make Noise 0-ctrl is plugged directly from the sequencer gate output to the gate CV input of the Lyra. I'm running a very slow clock from the 0-ctrl, with big gaps in the rhythm.
