Red Rey - Hot Girl Techno Set Red Rey is a DJ, performance artist and event producer. They incorporate their Filipinx and queer club cultural influences to their performances, song selection, costuming, movement and events.
As a performance artist, notable works include acting with indigenous Australian artist Brook Andrew in their play titled GABAN, performing art in the 23rd Sydney Biennale with Filipino artist Leeroy New and modelling / walking Australian Fashion Week 2023 with designer Erik Yvon. They have also produced queer POC focused club events, most notably during Sydney World Pride 2023 and is a former day time radio presenter at FBi Radio Sydney.
As a DJ, Red Rey has performed internationally at events such as Boiler Room, Parking Stone Paris, FOMO HOMO Singapore, Stampffabrik Festival Germany and Subsonic Music Festival. They have supported artists such as LSDXOXO, Wata Igarashi, Uniqu3, Roi Perez, Mike Q, Boris, Swan Meat and Supergloss.
