
In this devlog, I explain how I implemented particle & ribbon emitters into my custom game engine, how I implemented some basic melee attacks, and the animation difficulties I experienced while doing that. I also give a first glimpse of gathering (mining and woodcutting), although that is far from finished.
Finally I give a summary of the biggest tasks left to do in order to achieve a 'vertical slice' of the game.
