Watch in HD!!!!! This is a play through video for a song titled 'Break the Chain' by the band Gravity Storm. I recently had the privilege of doing some session work for the group, and I recorded a couple of play through's for some of the songs.
The drumming in this video isn't anything complicated at all, but I feel that it really fits the music well. The band already had pre-pro drums written for the songs that actually fit the music perfectly. So I decided to track the drums playing very close to what they had originally programmed. Of course, I did have the freedom to embellish certain fills and grooves to my taste, which I had some fun with. Please check them out on Facebook or Youtube if you have a minute. I had a lot of fun working with the group, and I really enjoyed the music. It was a lot of fun playing and recording drums to these songs.

I use Remo Emperor Clear's on tom batter heads, Remo Ambassador Clear's on tom resonant heads, a Powerstroke 3 on the kick batter, a Coated Controlled Sound for the snare batter, and a Clear Emperor Hazy for the snare resonant.
