Some new Drum & Bass made on the always fun, never done PO-33 K.O!Despite having many samplers including Akai MPCs, Roland SP's and even the bigger brother to this one (the EP-133 KO II) I still am continually drawn to the challenge of trying to squeeze as much juice out of this little instrument as I can. 40 seconds of total sample time, 4 voice polyphony and only 16 pattern slots certainly keep things simple but it is that simplicity that I love pushing against. I suppose one day I might hit the limits of my creativity with this device but it hasn't happened yet.
I started off trying to make some Liquid Drum & Bass here but it just didn't go that away. I ended up in this kind of Jump Up/Glitch territory instead. I like it though. It just sounds kind of fun.
