There are huge Bangladeshi citizens and nationals who live in China. Most Bangladeshi expatriates are based in Guangzhou and consist largely of diplomats their own companies.Social and cultural events such as the Pohela Boishakh and Victory day are celebrated quite often by those who cannot go home. There is also a local organization, Bangladesh Community China (BCG), which has been active for the last few years.
