
Shiver is a hard rock trio from San Francisco formed in 1972, their only album, 'San Francisco's Shiver', was released in 2000. The album was recorded in 1972, and was released through Rockadelic Records.
Influenced by San Francisco's subculture and blues rock, the album features powerful, experimental sounds similar to those of Blue Cheer, JPT Scare Band, Truth, and Janey. Notably, "Tough As Nails" and "Bone Shaker" showcase their energy and style.
Shiver performed under various names, performing from 1969 to 1972. They actively performed at street fairs on Haight, Market, and Castro streets, and biker parties in Hells Angels, and played with James Gurley and Peter Albin as well.
