Was the 2012 Australian Open the highest quality men's slam ever?
This was possibly the peak of the big 4 era in tennis. It was one of the several slams in this period which had all the big 4 reaching the semi finals (along with the French and US Opens from the previous year), but all 4 of them were healthy and in good form. Andy and Roger were able to push Novak and Rafa respectively, despite having poor grand slam records against the two, which if course, led to probably the best tennis match in history when Djokovic met Nadal in the final. #tennis #djokovic #murray #big4 #goat
