Watch in HD!!! This is a video for a song called 'AWOL' by the band Monuments. It's off of the album titled 'Phronesis'.

I used to play with Monuments a few years back. Unfortunately, my time with the band wasn't long, and I wish I had done more with the group. On the plus side, I was really excited when they contacted me to record the drums for this album. I had already left the band at this point, and I wasn't expecting to ever have the opportunity of being on a Monuments release. So I was really happy when the guys hit me up to track drums for 'Phronesis'. This song in particular was one of my favorites, and it was probably the toughest song to record off of that record.

This is actually the third time I've recorded a video for this song... I had to redo this video a few times due to switching companies for drum heads, sticks, and pedals/shoes. I'm glad I can finally put out a video for this song because it's one of my favorites off of the album.
