Almost a year ago, Beda’a launched onto the scene with Eclipse, its flagship timepiece that showcased a minimalist case and dial, both centered around a circular aesthetic.
Its unique dial design opted for a covered dial, displaying time through a fan-shaped aperture at 12 o’clock, through which a rotating disc displays the hour, while the minutes were displayed through a periphery window. According to the brand, all 200 pieces sold out in just three hours.
The Eclipse watch makes a return in a second edition. The time-only display separates the main hours and minutes from the running seconds, on two separate discs within a 37mm stainless steel case.
Against averturine glass, digital hours take residence at 12 o’clock, while the minutes, demarcated into 12 5-minute markers, are gestured by a single, bold minute hand. The running seconds at 6 o’clock adopts a different design, with a spear-shaped point gliding over a circular brushed surface.
