Django's great-niece, Charlotte Reinhardt has oscillated between jazz and classical music since her early childhood. Her gypsy mother, her English father, her studies at the Conservatoire National de Paris and her career in jazz have allowed the emergence of a rich and explosive musical universe. After the success of her previous album, she retired to her Spanish mountains of Cantabria to compose "Fables", a deeply personal work, inspired by the legends and wild nature of this valley so dear to her heart. Carried by the influences of Ravel and Brad Mehldau, "Fables" weaves a subtle dialogue between contemplation and raw emotion.
