Dream pop instrumental, loop pedal jam. Bandcamp or Spotify I put the G&L Doheny Tribute & Volca FM into different channels of the Ditto x4, recorded to tracks 3 & 4 on the Tascam 688 cassette recorder. (details below)
The G&L Doheny was put through the WEM Copicat tape echo unit before going into the loop pedal. The Volca FM was recorded dry and then sent to the WEM Copicat from the FX bus of the Tascam 688 in the mixing stage.
I used a very old cassette tape to record this one on, as a result the low end is very washed out and warbley in places.
After recording the live jam I overdubbed 2 fuzz guitar tracks. One using the Will Sledge FX '5 knob' mystery box (I just call it "black box") and the other using a Big Muff Pi. I also overdubbed a tambourine which was sent to the tape echo at the mixing stage.
As the fuzz guitar solo came in, I turned up the FX send to run the guitar solo through the tape echo.
