
Officials are responding to a home in Southgate early Thursday morning after an explosion. The explosion happened at a home on Edison Street and Burns Street, with neighbors telling us they woke up to it around 5 a.m. When we arrived to the scene, we saw the house was flattened, with next door homes catching fire with the blast. You can see debris covering the streets, with several firefighters and emergency personnel responding the area. As of 6:50 a.m., we are unsure what the cause of the explosion is.
