The Cut is an original, high-stakes songwriting competition. The challenge for the artists is straightforward, but succeeding requires serious musical skills to write, arrange and record, as well as the ability to collaborate with other music creators they have just met.

Three aspiring songwriters and three producers are randomly paired up and asked to write a song from scratch immediately after meeting for the first time. In this Episode, singer-songwriters are Kadiata, Kaycee2 (aka Klyrae) and Ruby Confue. They will be paired up with one of the producers – Blue Canarinho, Iglu and Michelin Shin.

In the finale, the winning team from each episode will be tasked to create another successful collaboration. If they make it that far, the competition heats up as the winning pair will walk away with a publishing deal and recording time.
