Containment is my first track in my industrial/symphonic/cyberpunk/dark synth exploration of the SCP universe.
SCP-5000, titled "Why?", is a mysterious anomalous suit designated SCP-5000-1, discovered under circumstances that involve a massive betrayal by the SCP Foundation itself. Found by researcher Pietro Wilson, the suit provides limited environmental protection and records its user’s experiences. However, the real anomaly is not the suit, but the events surrounding its discovery.
The SCP Foundation, an organization dedicated to protecting humanity from anomalies, suddenly turns against the human race, beginning a mass extermination effort. Pietro Wilson embarks on a dangerous journey wearing the suit, documenting his experiences as he uncovers disturbing truths about the Foundation’s motivations. He discovers that humanity is inherently linked to anomalies in ways previously unknown, and that the Foundation’s actions are part of a desperate attempt to prevent an even greater catastrophe.
SCP-5000 explores themes of betrayal, survival, and the dark, hidden agendas that threaten the very survival of mankind. The mystery behind the Foundation’s actions and the suit’s role in Pietro’s journey form the core of this SCP.
