In 2014, I was asked by Piotr Jagodzinski of the Polish foundation of early Theravada Buddhism, creator of the Sasana.pl website, to create a soundtrack for a documentary film titled "Tigers' Heart"
The film is a record of the journey of Marcin Fabjanski, a Polish philosopher, journalist and writer through Thailand.
Marcin visited places where the so-called Thai Forest Tradition is practiced:
"The Thai Forest Tradition originated in the late 19th century on the border of Thailand and Laos in response to the abandonment of meditation and the comfortable life of monks in the cities. First, a few uncompromising monks left the monasteries and headed into the jungle to learn the laws of nature and explore their own minds. They tore through the forest, meditated in caves, on mountain tops, under cliffs and among wild animals. Without breaking with official Buddhism, they produced their own methods of meditation and analysis of experience."
