What's the say you have to use the speaker inside of a combo amp? What if you don't have a speaker cab to use with an amp head? The trick is to check the impedance of the speakers to know what you can change, plus having the option of a quarter inch plug. I might just solder a quarter inch plug (Female and Male) into speaker wires on combo amps, just so I can receive signal from another amp.
