In this videos you can see, I connected the armature of a 775 DC motor to the shaft of another 775 DC motor. The second motor is left unpowered, and a voltmeter is connected to its terminals. When I supply power to the first 775 DC motor, it starts rotating, which in turn rotates the armature of the second motor through the shaft connection. When I bring a magnet close to the armature of the second motor, it starts generating electricity, and a voltage reading appears on the voltmeter.
