Well in Asia we have Kazakhstan. It was the last country to declare its independence from the USSR in December 1991 which makes it 32 years old.
Kosovo is the youngest in Europe. however the independence of Kosovo is disputed. Therefore we will consider Bosnia and Herzegovina which gained its independence from Yugoslavia in 1992.
Lastly the newest country is the African nation of South Sudan.
