We understand why a lot of people don't like using palm oil in their products - it has a bad name because of deforestation, climate change, and causing a direct threat to endangered species.

But not all palm oil is made the same. In fact, Baraka is committed to providing products that have positive social and environmental impacts, including our palm oils.

Baraka Palm Oils are hand-grown and harvested by smallholder farmers and we also take a lot of pride in being part of the RSPO (Round Table On Sustainable Palm Oil).

In order to make a bigger impact, Wayne helped set up a project where degraded mining lands were recovered to set up smallholder palm oil plantations while providing training, support, and resources to help local families to take them over.

With more communication and education about palm oil, we believe that we can continue to support the lives of the families that depend on sustainable palm oil plantations to make a living.
