Warren Gatland has stepped down as Wales' head coach during the Six Nations after suffering a record 14 consecutive Test match defeats. The 61-year-old, who was under contract until the 2027 Rugby World Cup, has departed by mutual agreement, according to the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU). Cardiff head coach Matt Sherratt has been appointed as interim head coach for the remaining three games of the tournament.
