My new album called "Blackout Pulse" will be released on February 14th.As I have already announced several times, the music is going in a slightly different direction. The musical genre is progressive synth music, which means that 98 percent of all songs are recorded with synthesizers. I have decided to produce something new that is away from my very guitar-heavy music. Instead of guitar solos, you will now hear synthesizer solos. Instead of booming rock drums, you will now hear electronic delay drums that set the accents.
I was inspired by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, who established this type of music through their work with Nine Inch Nails and also for many films, such as The Social Network.
I was also inspired by Hildur Guðnadóttir, who famously composed the music for the television series Chernobyl, which is incredibly dark and hopeless. At the same time, this music is incredibly great and has rightly won many awards.
The mood of the album is dark and mystical, you want to run away but still listen to the sounds.
The album was created within 30 days at a time when many things were happening in Germany that were and are frightening. But in the end, nature will correct us all.
The album includes 9 instrumental progressive synth songs and will be available to listen to for free on YouTube and Bandcamp. Of course, all songs will be played one after the other as individual songs on YouTube.
