Taylor Swift says she bought back her masters, reveals future for 'Taylor's Versions'

In an emotional letter shared on her website Friday, Taylor Swift announced that she’d finally bought back her masters. The pop icon marked the milestone by sharing several new photos of herself surrounded by her first six albums, the rights to which were sold to record exec Scooter Braun in 2019 (and one year later to Shamrock Capital, which struck the new deal with Swift).

And in true Taylor Swift style, she celebrated her victory while decked out in several pieces of particularly symbolic jewelry — including one of her many ancient coin necklaces, a silver pendant from Steven Battelle that she first wore to a Chiefs game in January.
