Today I’m going embark on another challenging adventure and try to kayak all the way out to this wind farm. Covering a return trip of almost 20miles.
Over the years I’ve I've gazed in awe at these wind turbines from the shore, those tiny little specs on the horizon, some days you can’t even see them they are so so far away.
My friend, Andy, and I have discussed the idea of kayaking to the wind farm for the past couple of years, but I wasn't certain if we'd ever actually do it. My previous kayaking experience was limited to paddling along the calm waters of the river Thames a few years ago but this is the open ocean. So, I'm completely stepping into the unknown. Also joining on this ambitious quest is my friend Adam, Adam is a fellow YouTuber and passionate climate scientist and I knew this would be right up his alley.
