This sound is one of the cooler things I get to do when recording. While some recording artists prefer to copy and paste, I like the sound of truly double-tracked guitars...with little variances that give an edge to the track.

Again using the Charvel Model #4 on a clean and then a dirty setting, with single-tracked guitar and then double-tracked guitar to show the big sound of widely panned electric guitars. The Charvel is running direct into an Axe Fx II with patches that are modeled after a Fender Twin (clean sound) and a Marshall Plexi (heavy sound).
