Rumor has it that one universe was comprised of beings who were masters of song. They used song and music to do everything, right down to what appeared to be actual magic!As this universe advanced, their songs became so powerful, that a single note could evoke entire majestic epic tales in the minds of those who heard. While an argument could be made that this was "the greatest music ever made", it unfortunately resulted in madness for the majority of mortal minds. The sheer weight of information conveyed could overwork emotional and mental machinery, like overclocking a computer way past its limits.
The songs were unspeakably beautiful. Literally unspeakable, for they caused most minds to collapse! So naturally they were turned into weapons and ways to manipulate and control one another.
The gods knew this power was too much for the mortal world, but also knew it was inevitable it would appear again no matter how much they tried to suppress the ambitions of humanity.
Their solution was to create a being to moderate this incredible power. A divine songstress who could not only handle the immense weight of the universal interface, but act as a medium and intermediator between the universal interface and humanity.
No sound was too powerful for this being, no idea too harmful or dangerous. Through her grace, every wavelength in the universe could be turned into beautiful music! Got em!
