Ambient performance of my latest patch. Highlights include the lots of Eurorack, Waldorf Iridium, and improv on Wavestate. Hope you enjoy!
Patch Notes:
Opening textures created with mostly Omnisphere and Bioscape. Large glitchy sounds from Bitbox loop, randomly splices, played through grains of Monsoon. Bass sequence from Vector through Minimod VCOs / VCF. Second bass "berlin school" style sequence also from Vector, through E370/Forbidden Planet/Rainmaker. Swells and other sounds from various Eurorack modules (Waldorf nw1, Chainsaw, etc.). Iridium played in multi-timbre mode, one playing a random chime arpeggio and the other assisting with texture swells. Wavestate is flute sound in texture and improv. Other melodies include use of Twin Waves/Belgrad offset with Twin Waves. After the "bridge" the two melodies include E370/Prism and 4ms Ensemble Oscillator/Magneto for a break beat opposition of melodies. Other than mentioned above, NerdSeq handled all other sequencing.
Pigments was also used for two layered melodies added after "bridge".
Drums all run through Digitakt + Plonk.
Performance was mixed live just off screen left using Push 2.
Tracks were recorded directly into DAW / no overdubs.
Some limiting was added in post.
