On 2 December 1985, poet Andrew Motion was interviewed by ITN's Nick Glass following the death of poet Philip Larkin. Motion, who would later become poet laureate, told Glass why he believed Larkin was the nation's favourite poet, and recalled his last meeting with Larkin at his home in Hull, just a month before his death.
