He has a pretty decent pension but he spends most of it on cats. He and his wife eat vegetables and rice but leave the meat and fishes for the cats.
The man was touched by his gestures and asked why they started. It turns out, the old man has witnessed some horrors from people abusing cats. And he never wants them to suffer anymore. He gives them food so they never have to starve. Even his wife is on board with the plan.
Neighbors mock them for living the way they do but they knew they had to set aside their pride once they see how the stray cats were being treated and how hungry the stray cats were.
After his story was shared online, lots of people started donating lots of food to him. The old man ended up getting lots of winter clothes as well so he doesn't have to be cold again.
The man was worried that after the story died down, the help would dwindle. Thankfully, a cat food company stepped up and is regularly delivering food to him for free. Let's hope they continue to do god's work.
