This kind girl is an influencer and has a lot of followers online. She tried to use her platform to help many recently fired workers find a job but the jobs she found are far away and they thought she was a scammer. Dejected, she was about to leave when she saw a woman wearing a construction hat. She ran up to her and stopped her.

She asked her age and the woman said she was 40 and said she's looking for a job. The girl said that she can help. But when she saw her ID, it shows that she's 53 years old. She lied about her age because she was hoping to find a job easier.

The girl then invited the woman to a breakfast shop for a free meal. There, she learned that the woman doesn't know how to read and is terrified on being scammed. She has limited job opportunity due to not knowing how to read. The new year is approaching and she's desperate for money for her family. She is a mother and a grandmother.

The girl agreed to help her and together they searched everywhere in the city for a job in the construction field. However, everyone said no to her. They even went inside a corporate building to ask around. One job actually offered $2500 per month which was quite decent but they said that they couldn't pay right away. The woman couldn't take the chance, rightfully, it could be a scam.

After so many rejections, the woman stopped by a wedding dress shop that wasn't open. She said that she never had a chance to wear the wedding dress even though she is married. At that moment, the girl realized that the woman is still a little girl inside. She was forced to grow up too soon. With her family's persuasion as well as society's, she married, had kids, and even became a grandma but she never had a chance to live out her childhood dreams. Never even finished school. And now she has more responsibility.

They went to a hotpot shop. There the woman began to cry. She shed a few tears. She said that yesterday she ate her lunch in the cold street after failing to find jobs. The girl ordered plenty of food.

After the hotpot, they went searching for jobs and again more rejections. Until one friend recommend that they go to a mall basement as there is construction going on there. So they did. They needed to find a job that would at least last until the New Year's.

Although the basement was dark and they were scared, they finally secured a job for the woman. She was so happy that she immediately called her family to inform them of the good news.

The woman even brought the girl back to the small room she was renting for $200 per month. It is barely functional. It has no heater and she has to put on every clothes she has to go to sleep when she's tired at night.

So the girl surprised her with a small heater and some money. It made the woman very happy. Her face lights up upon seeing the heater.

When saying goodbye, the woman kept turning around again and again to say goodbye. This girl has helped her immensely. She will probably never forget her.
