A formerly withheld track here from the J_K_Z_L ? demo recording sessions (2005) - Mastered 2012.As I have recorded a better (and faster) version of this song for the Snakes & Ladders album, I didn't include it on J_K_Z_L ? the first time I properly mastered it in 2008. Along with the other in this set of two (THE LIGHT THAT SHINES) it was included on an early 'bad n' boomy' first edition of the demo. So it's time to breath life back into the old beasts. The main guitar solo (after the melody/soloish thing) is by Chris Owen.
This was the first song I ever wrote alone (and the first Jekazol track), way before I had any music lessons, so it's bare-bones direct innocence. The funny thing is that you can never quite conjure that vibe ever again. There's something to be said for punk ethic.
