Behind the Sounds: How we made our own unique DIY Industrial Drum Sounds for our single "Wife of the Sea" a collaboration with King Dude.As lifelong musicians, studio owners, and total music-geeks, we love sharing about our processes, methodologies and the innovative production techniques we use to create our unique style of music, which can best described as "yogic-metal".
"Wife of the Sea" is the first volume of Temple Hymns, a collaborative project where we invite select artists to collectively write and record new music with us at our studio Temple of the Trees in Seattle, WA to create a series of distinctive singles.
We personally designed and built Temple of the Trees from ground up - an incredibly unique, state of the art studio resembling a gothic cathedral from another dimension and featuring gorgeous hand-milled wood treatments all throughout from the very trees that grew on the land before. Each new volume of Temple Hymns will spotlight a different artist we've joined forces with to push the musical boundaries of art and explore what's possible when creative minds come together.
