New UKG / 2Step jam with my hacked Korg Volca Sample with Pajen Firmware.
The "Pajen" firmware adds some interesting funtionalities like Bar Filters (permits to play a single pattern on a longer cycle, for example every 2 or 4 bars) that allow to make longer sequences or the "Probability" (you can add to every step a value from 0 to 100 that represent the probability of a note to be played) that permits to create variations and a semi-generative approach to the sequences. This last function is the one i used the most in this 2Step / Uk Garage jam, expecially on drums. All the sounds are loaded by me , all the basses and some drums are synthetized from scratch using basic waveforms, the pads or melodic sounds are made with basic waves and single note flutes / winds / voices samples.
