Netanyahu is First Foreign Leader Invited to the White House Under Trump 2.0 |Firstpost America |N18G
US President Donald Trump has invited Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to visit the White House. The Israeli Prime Minister’s office has confirmed the invite and stated that the two leaders are to meet on February 4. This would make Netanyahu the first foreign leader to visit the White House under the Second Trump Presidency. Trump and Netanyahu are reportedly expected to discuss the situation in Gaza as the Ceasefire between Israel and Hamas continues. Though Trump has said that he is unsure whether the Gaza ceasefire will last long. Trump and Netanyahu are also slated to discuss normalizing ties between Israel and Saudi Arabia, which took a hit after the war between Israel and Hamas erupted in October 7, 2023.
