This is some old school psychedlic rock with me playing my brand new 2011 Godin xtSA guitar I got about a week ago, and a Roland GR-20 guitar synth I just got yesterday. The guitar amp is a 1990 Yamaha VR5000 amp a 100 Watt 1x12" combo amp I just bought yesterday that it turns out the speaker had been replaced with a Electro-Voice 12 speaker from the 80's-90's. That turned out to be the best amp deal of my life the amp is super clean sound and the speaker is astonishingly clean and loud. These VR-series Yamaha's are extremely underrated and little known guitar amps today and were very expensive back in the day. The EV 12 is quite full range and very flat response for a guitar speaker the usable range is 60-7,000 Hz whereas most guitar speakers don't go much past 4,000 Hz. The speaker alone is worth more than I paid for the entire amp. So I am trying out the new (old) gear with the new guitar.

I never played a guitar synth before I made this recording but I do like it. All the sounds you hear except the drums are the Godin xtSA guitar.
