Not all "studio derived" speakers are gold. M-Audio AV32 is very popular, compact, budget studio monitor. How does it compares to cheaper PC speaker Creative T20 Series II? Not very favorably, to be honest, I liked the sound of T20 more. Creative not only is more pleasant to listen, but also more detailed and natural in tone. M-Audio sounds more boxy and harsher that T20, with more boomy bass response and rolled off top end. If You look for speakers to listen to music out of these two get Creative. If You look for compact studio monitors to produce music, look totally elswhere (*hint get Presonus Eris E4.5). What do You think? Does M-Audio sound better than Creative?
